Yes, and. I want to take to the streets in a way that is smart and disciplined. Its not that I’m afraid of Trumps goons. (Ok, well maybe a bit. My wife just missed gettting shot at Kent State 50 years ago.) Its that I don’t want to give the Boogaloo Boys or Trump any cover if they do come after me or us. Same reason that the Civil Rights pioneers didn’t smash windows at the lunch counters.

I am trying to get folks to do interfaith “church-ins” to demand justice and democracy. Demand sane public health policy and government economic support for people who are struggling. A new new deal. Poverty, racism, militarism, authoritarianism are all affronts to our inalienable rights, so lets get out of the churches and into the streets. Bring flags and bible verses on banners. What do you think?

How do you think that would play if we could keep it up every Sunday until the election at every Congressional home office?
